New Crew Needed for Central Norway – Forestry Clearing & Edge Tree Felling

Norsk Skogrydding AS is a leading actor in forestry clearing in Norway. We primarily work with clearing and felling along power lines to ensure a secure and stable electricity supply.

Due to continued strong growth, we are now looking for a new work crew that will mainly operate in Central Norway. During the snow-free season, the work consists of both edge tree felling and clearing of undergrowth, while winter work focuses primarily on edge tree felling.

Do you currently work with manual chain saw felling, young forest clearing, or as an arborist? Or did you grow up on a farm where a chainsaw and brush cutter were a natural part of daily life? If you also live in Jämtland with close proximity to Norway, you might be exactly who we are looking for.

About the Position

The work area is primarily in Trøndelag, Norway. You will be part of a Swedish work crew consisting of 3–4 people, where collaboration and responsibility are key factors.

The work is performed in periods:

• 4–6 weeks of continuous work (5–6 days per week)
• Followed by 1–2 weeks of leave

We provide accommodation during the work periods. Compensation is added for the use of your own chainsaw and personal vehicle.

Who We Are Looking For

• Have experience working with chainsaws and/or brush cutters, or have a strong willingness and ability to learn.
• Are safety-conscious and enjoy physical outdoor work.
• Have a strong work ethic and collaborate well in a team.
• Have relevant education or certificates (e.g., chainsaw license – advantageous).
• Are flexible and comfortable working in different locations.
