What does the job involve? In this role, you will work around and inside aircraft, handling the sorting, loading, and unloading of baggage, freight, and cargo. The work is performed both manually and with the aid of tools. You will operate a range of special vehicles around the aircraft and also work with snow clearing, including driving wheel loaders. The position also includes simple inspections and maintenance of equipment and vehicles.

Before your employment begins, you will undergo a one-week paid basic training course. The studies are intensive, and you will receive further training during your employment. This includes, among other things, snow clearing, where handling various types of machinery is included, as well as preparing for future work as an airport firefighter. The work is physically demanding, and as part of the firefighter training, tests are conducted that require both strength and endurance.

The schedule involves shift work with 100% employment.

Who are you? We are looking for someone who has

• A Category B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Good physical fitness to handle the physically demanding tasks

It is an advantage if you have a Category C driver's license, an interest in vehicles and machinery, and some years of work experience. Our work is a multifaceted team effort governed by international regulations that require precision and good teamwork skills. You need to be responsible, thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy change, and be willing to develop.

Our airport is on standby for air ambulances around the clock, and you must be able to commute to and from work on irregular hours, sometimes with short notice.
