About the role

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maintenance work within the areas of Axelent AB and Nordic. You work both preventively and reactively to ensure that facilities and equipment function optimally and that the work is carried out according to current internal and external requirements.

The position involves close collaboration with production, colleagues within maintenance, and external suppliers.

You report to the Maintenance Manager.

Your main responsibilities

In the role, you will among other things:

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance as well as general inspections.
• Document performed work in the company's maintenance system, Maintmaster.
• Be attentive to unusual noises, deviations, and other signs of faults, and act proactively when necessary.
• Have contact with external suppliers and service partners.
• Support work at the spare parts warehouse when needed.
• Participate in and drive continuous improvement work and document implemented measures.
• Be responsible for purchasing consumables for the maintenance department.
• Promote good order and discipline in the workplace.
• Refurbish and restore components and spare parts.
• Train and support other personnel on maintenance-related issues when needed.

We are looking for you who

• Have technical education or equivalent experience in maintenance, mechanics, electrical, or automation.
• Are solution-oriented, responsible, and have a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Enjoy working both independently and in teams.
• Have a structured approach and good documentation skills.
• Are engaged in improvement work and want to contribute to the development of the business.
• Have good communication skills and are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience with welding is an advantage.

To thrive and succeed as a Maintenance Technician, you need to be technically interested, solution-oriented, and have strong personal drive. You work proactively by identifying deviations and improvement opportunities before they develop into larger problems. The role requires precision and structure, especially regarding documentation and follow-up of performed work.

You have the ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks, while also collaborating well with colleagues, production, and external suppliers. Since you also contribute to the training of other employees, it is important that you can communicate clearly and share your knowledge.

We also see that you value order and discipline, have a high awareness of safety and quality, and are driven by developing equipment, working methods, and the business through continuous improvements.
