DS Smith is now looking for an Electrician for our factory in Värnamo!

About the role

As an electrician/maintenance technician at DS Smith, you will have a varied and responsible role focused on preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment. You will independently drive and support defined tasks within areas such as mechanical maintenance, repair work, facility services, and installation of machinery and equipment.

About you

We are looking for you who are trained as an electrician and have experience working in manufacturing operations. It is a great advantage if you also have good mechanical understanding. Since we have a high degree of automation in our machinery, knowledge of troubleshooting via PLC is a plus.

As you will be part of a service department, we place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You have a strong safety mindset and enjoy collaborating with others, while also being self-motivated and engaged. Problem-solving is a natural part of your daily routine, where you can utilize your creative, analytical, and customer-oriented approach. You enjoy being where the action is and communicate easily with those around you.

For this position, you need to have Swedish language skills at least at B2 level.
