Job Description

Are you a driven and strategic relationship builder who wants to make a real difference for patients in cardiology, nephrology, and diabetes? Randstad is now looking for an engaged Strategic Account Manager for a long-term consultancy assignment at AstraZeneca.

As a consultant with Randstad, you will have the opportunity to work at AstraZeneca, a global leader in BioPharma driven by the mission to improve the lives of millions of people. In the role of Strategic Account Manager, you play a crucial part in transforming care projects and identifying local business opportunities.

This is a field-based assignment where you will cover the regions of Värmland, Örebro, Södermanland, Stockholm, and Västmanland. All selected candidates will undergo background checks as well as alcohol and drug testing.

Type of assignment: Consultancy assignment via Randstad Care at AstraZeneca.

Scope: 100%.

Period: Start June or August 2026, until 2027-05-31.

Responsibilities

Your main tasks:

In this role, you are responsible for developing and implementing robust account strategies to achieve commercial goals for strategic accounts such as hospitals and pharmacies.

  • Strategic Collaboration: You work closely with local brand teams to develop tailored strategies and ensure favorable listings and protocol inclusions.
  • Value-Based Selling: By using data analysis and customer insights, you identify growth opportunities and communicate the clinical and economic benefits of AstraZeneca's products.
  • Relationship Building: You build and maintain strategic partnerships within the therapeutic ecosystem and stay updated on healthcare policies and market trends.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Residence: You must be resident in one of the following regions: Värmland, Örebro, Södermanland, Uppsala, or Stockholm.
  • Education: Academic degree in economics or healthcare.
  • Medical Competence: Possession of MGU (Medical Basic Education) or equivalent degree.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry or the healthcare sector.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of health economics and the Swedish healthcare system, as well as proven expertise in sales and customer interactions.
  • Digital Proficiency: Experience with omnichannel work and using data-driven insights to drive performance (e.g., via NDR or Rikssvikt).
  • Languages: Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Therapeutic Experience: Experience in the therapeutic areas of cardiology, nephrology, or diabetes.
