Your role in the company

As a mechanic for our client in Boxholm, you will play a key role in ensuring stable and safe production. You will become part of the maintenance team and work closely with operations, focusing on preventing downtime, solving technical issues, and contributing to a well-functioning facility.

About the assignment

This is a practical and varied role where you will handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and machinery. You will work in a technical environment where safety, quality, and operational reliability are central to daily work.

You will be employed as a consultant by Skill and work on-site at our client's facility in Boxholm.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for tasks such as:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance
• Troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment
• Replacement and servicing of mechanical components
• Work with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Simple welding and workshop tasks when needed (electric and MIG welding)
• Contributing to order, safety, and continuous improvement in operations

Your profile

To succeed in this role, we look for candidates with experience in mechanical maintenance or repair work, as well as knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. You are responsible and proactive, enjoy collaborating and contributing to the team, and have a safety-conscious approach to work. Experience with welding, as well as forklift and overhead crane licenses, is considered a merit.
