Job Description

We are now looking for you who want to combine endocrine outpatient care with inpatient duties. Within our endocrine outpatient clinic, patients with a broad spectrum of endocrine diagnoses and osteoporosis are investigated and treated. Our large diabetes clinic has close cooperation with specialized maternity care and wound centers. You will alternate between the clinic and inpatient care. Our inpatient ward currently has 12 beds for patients with acute endocrine conditions.

We are a strong team that combines the opportunities of a large hospital with close, personal patient contact. The Endocrinology Department has a strong academic anchoring here with two professors, a senior lecturer, and clinical doctoral students.

The Endocrinology Department is part of the Internal Medicine Business Area, which has a prominent position in clinical teaching and patient-oriented research at Södersjukhuset. Our local R&D council has close cooperation with Karolinska Institutet at Södersjukhuset to ensure high-quality clinical research. We provide high-quality education for medical students and are ranked as one of Sweden's best training sites in medicine. The position includes supervision of medical students. You will participate on-call duties in Internal Medicine.
