The Gastroenterology Clinic at Linköping University Hospital is a regional gastroenterology clinic for the South East Healthcare Region. On our ward (B194), we care for patients with diseases within the liver and gastrointestinal tract requiring medical and surgical care, as well as patients with endocrine conditions such as diabetes and hormonal disorders. Together with the surgical clinic, we have a national assignment for highly specialized care (NHV) in reconstructive surgery for patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
What We Offer
On our ward, we actively work for a good working environment, for example through daily team reflections focusing on teamwork, patient safety, and workplace conditions. Through joint team reflection, we reduce the risk of employees taking work home, which also improves clinical outcomes and patient safety.
Our clinic places great emphasis on ensuring our employees receive the necessary competence to achieve the best possible care quality. Your knowledge development is important to us, and we continuously work on competence development during working hours through weekly training sessions, as well as external training opportunities (e.g., conferences in gastroenterology and diabetes).
