Job Description

As a Transport Worker, you will primarily be responsible for transporting goods, food, mail, textiles, and waste within the hospital. You will be offered variety and development opportunities, as we also assist with other services that make it easier for healthcare staff to focus on their core activities. You will meet many new people in a dynamic role where much happens. The position also includes driving scheduled trips within the region.

Working hours are during the day, Monday–Friday. Weekend work may occur.

Qualifications

For this position, you must have a completed upper secondary education, a valid B-driver's license, and good driving skills. You communicate fluently in Swedish and can engage in dialogue with customers and colleagues, as well as follow written and oral work instructions. Your IT skills are good, and you have the physical fitness required to walk and stand for long periods during the workday, perform heavy lifting, and execute repetitive tasks.

Since the position requires good teamwork skills and a service-oriented attitude, it is further important that you:

• are social and helpful
• work well together with others
• enjoy adapting to changing circumstances
• are responsible and organized

A forklift license and previous experience in similar tasks within warehousing/logistics operations are strongly meritorious for the position.

What We Offer

Internal Logistics is a department within the Supply Administration responsible for the internal distribution of textiles, mail, goods, medicines, and consumables within the hospital. We are located at the region's largest hospital and consist of approximately 230 employees. Selection and interviews may take place continuously during the application period. The position is a permanent employment with placement at Kungälv Hospital.
