About the position

At our clinic, you will meet children and adolescents with orthopedic diagnoses from all over the country. We provide highly specialized pediatric orthopedic care and receive patients via referral. The department has a national highly specialized care mandate (NHV) where research, innovation, and clinical activities are conducted in close collaboration.

As a specialist nurse, you play a central role in coordinating care around the patient. You work closely with children, adolescents, and their families, contributing to secure, person-centered, and cohesive care based on each individual's needs.

The work is varied and is carried out in close collaboration with doctors and other professions within pediatric orthopedics. You will have an independent area of responsibility while being part of a dedicated interprofessional team.

Examples of tasks:

  • Your own nurse clinics
  • Casting clinics
  • PEVA clinics
  • Clinics within limb lengthening and wound care
  • Telephone advice via TeleQ and Always Open
  • Administrative tasks such as bookings
  • Joint consultations with doctors
  • Joint consultations with other professions, including orthotists and occupational therapists

  • Are independent and confident in your professional role and take responsibility for your work
  • Are proactive and contribute to the development and improvement of the practice
  • Have good cooperation skills and work well together with colleagues, patients, and relatives
  • Are service-oriented and have a professional approach where the patient's needs are in focus

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensed nurse with specialist education in child and adolescent health

Merits:
