Stockholm Exergi is Stockholm's energy company. We are approximately 800 employees working every day to reduce the climate impact on Stockholmers. We heat over 800,000 residents, and our 300-mile-long district heating network is the hub for the societal benefits we create. We have now started the construction of a carbon capture facility at our biomass combined heat and power plant in Värtan, with the potential to capture 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year, which is more than what Stockholm's road traffic emits during the same period. What can we offer you?

Together with the team, you will play a key role in operationally executing our fuel trades, thereby ensuring a sustainable, reliable, and cost-effective fuel supply to our facilities. In close collaboration with traders, logistics managers, production management, and operational staff, you will work on the operational planning and handling of our fuel deliveries. The role includes responsibility for fuel deliveries from receipt to payment, as well as ensuring that business systems and internal documents are updated with correct and current information. Within the fuel trade and fuel supply, this includes forest fuels, pellets, bio-oils, and fuel oil.

We see you as the hub of the network, and you will manage our handling of external storage. You will have daily contact with both internal functions and external actors such as suppliers, transport companies, inspectors, agents, etc., with the aim of coordinating and following up on deliveries. You are responsible for administration and documentation related to fuel deliveries and imports, as well as handling and reviewing invoices.

We offer you a role where you, independently and together with colleagues, are tasked with optimizing the value of our existing business, as well as continuously developing our processes, systems, and information management to provide the best conditions for tomorrow's fuel supply. The position also offers good opportunities for development within the fuel purchasing department. You will help develop our control over inventory, how it is optimized, followed up, and define the monitoring of KPIs. Experience from similar roles within fuels and biofuels, the forestry and paper industry, the energy sector, or commodity trading (including bulk handling) is considered an advantage.

Please note that we are hiring for two positions: a permanent position and a one-year fixed-term contract.

The roles are based at the Värtaverket plant in Hjorthagen, Stockholm, and involve daytime work.

Requirements

• An academic degree with a technical or economic focus, or other education combined with relevant experience for the role.
• Experience in logistics and logistics planning.
• Experience working with administrative tasks.
• Experience working with economic follow-up, order, and invoice management.
• Experience working within team leadership, optimization, and monitoring of relevant KPIs.
• Good communication skills and the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
