Where you will work

Björkgården is located in the Råsunda district with good transport connections. We are a care and housing facility with 51 apartments spread over four floors, one of which is for people with cognitive diseases/dementia. Here, we work with heart and mind to make every day fantastic for our residents.

Björkgården has a business profile focused on sports and outdoor life, where we, among other things, have a "bike taxi" that runs every week from spring to autumn.

Job Responsibilities

As a Live Life Inspirer at Björkgården, you will have a key role in creating a daily life filled with meaning, joy, and community for our residents. Your task is to start from each individual – their interests, experiences, and dreams – and together find ways to activities and experiences that strengthen both well-being and quality of life. This can range from preserving old interests to sparking curiosity about something completely new.

You contribute with creativity, engagement, and care, ensuring that daily life includes both small moments of extra specialness and larger, shared activities. The role also involves leading and supporting activity coordinators and contact persons, so that the entire team works together to create joy and variety in the residents' lives.

An important part of the work is also building networks and collaborating with associations, voluntary organizations, and the municipality, so that our residents have the opportunity to continue being part of society. Through your pedagogical skills, you also share new knowledge and inspire colleagues to develop the work based on person-centered and research-based methods.

In short, you will be the one who, together with the rest of us, makes a difference every day by focusing on quality of life.

The position will also include areas of responsibility such as ordering and preparations for receiving a new resident.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a colleague for a full-time permanent position with a probationary period.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A university degree in health pedagogy, or alternatively, a certified nursing assistant with documented experience working as an activity coach in elderly care.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• A B-driver's license and experience driving a minibus.

We also consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.

To thrive in this role, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings, while also being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. We work both in teams and independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in this environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to show an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.
