We are currently looking for two experienced moving truck drivers (75–85% employment) for our moving operations in Greater Stockholm, based out of our office in Ulvsunda/Bromma. This position offers excellent opportunities for career development into a team leader role.

Rent A Mover is a moving company with over 25 years of industry experience. We are currently in an expansion phase with ambitious plans and opportunities for growth. Come be part of our journey! We serve both private and public clients, handling everything from large household moves to single furniture pieces, office relocations, piano transports, and other complex heavy transports. We also provide staffing with ID06 certification and moving cleaning services. We deliver our services directly to customers and indirectly as subcontractors.

Responsibilities and Expectations

As a driver at Rent A Mover, you play a key role. In addition to working in the team as a mover, you are responsible for driving and managing the vehicle to and from the customer's location. Your duties include driving safely and responsibly to the correct location, ensuring the vehicle is in good condition, and verifying that all items are in place after the job is completed. As a driver, you are also responsible for ensuring the vehicle is fueled, washed, and passes safety checks before each trip, in coordination with the team leader. You are also responsible for loading the customer's belongings. A valid driver's license is therefore mandatory. Local knowledge of Greater Stockholm and previous experience in similar roles are strong assets.

As a team leader, you share responsibility for daily operations and workflow together with the back-office staff and the CEO. You maintain dialogue with customers on-site and adapt the service to the customer's needs and the company's capabilities in a friendly and professional manner. You ensure that our movers perform their tasks to the best of their ability and are responsible for training new employees to work safely and securely for both customers and staff. For this role, it is important that you have a genuine interest in delivering excellent service, possess strong communication skills, are fluent in Swedish (both spoken and written), and have experience in the moving industry.
