Your Role

The role of Quality Engineer involves working closely with Saab's production alongside other team members. The tasks are varied, and you will be responsible for problem-solving, coordinating and driving cases/investigations/improvements, aircraft inspections, and handling deviations in production.

You will also be part of the support team in the current production section and work closely with production managers, production engineers, and production controllers.

Your Profile

We place great importance on your personal qualities and believe you are a communicative person who thrives working with different workgroups and functions. You enjoy working with others, driving projects and work forward independently as well as in a team.

We see that you:

• Have at least upper secondary education in the technical field or equivalent, or more work experience.
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills.
• Have good analytical skills and the ability to express yourself clearly in both speech and writing in Swedish and English.
• Have knowledge of quality concepts such as quality systems, quality control, and/or quality assurance.
• Have experience searching for information in various computer systems.

The following qualifications are meritorious:

• Practical experience working in the aviation industry.
• Knowledge of production processes.
• Professional experience in quality engineering or quality assurance.
• Experience in systematic problem-solving and root cause analysis.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
