About the position

As a nurse with us, you will have a varied and developing role where you work closely with both patients and colleagues in a cohesive team. The employment is for a permanent full-time position. The work is scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Nursing care before, during, and after examinations.
• Assisting with endoscopic procedures.
• Medication management and patient monitoring.
• Patient information and counseling.

About you

For this position, you need:

• To be a registered nurse with some years of experience.

It is meritorious if you also have:

• Experience within endoscopy, surgery, or urology.
• Specialist training in intensive care.

You work in a structured manner and have good prioritization skills. As a person, you are secure and stable. You are flexible in your working methods and can quickly adapt when conditions change. You have good judgment, are empathetic, and collaborate well with others, while also enjoying working independently when needed. You are characterized as a good team player who contributes to a positive work environment.

About us

The Endoscopy Clinic is a specialist department where we perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic examinations. Here we work in multidisciplinary teams together with specialist doctors within surgery, urology, and gastroenterology, scrub nurses, as well as experienced nurses, nursing assistants, and anesthesia staff. We care about a pleasant work culture and are proud of our dedicated colleagues and strong team spirit. We have, for example, a much-appreciated Friday breakfast, which we take turns hosting.

Our department is open during daytime Monday - Friday and handles both elective and acute cases.

We have a strong focus on quality, patient safety, and development, and actively work with person-centered care through our jointly developed model for Person-Centered Endoscopy.

Among other things, we perform:

• Diagnostic examinations for complaints from the gastrointestinal tract and urinary tract.
• Sampling (biopsies).
• Treatments such as polyp removal, bleeding control, and dilatations, PEG insertions, and PEG changes.
