We at Wenmec are expanding and are now looking for both manual welders and robot welders for our operations in Kil. Do you have experience in welding and want to develop together with our team? You are warmly welcome to join us!

About the role

As a welder and robot welder at Wenmec, you will become an important part of our welded team, where community, pride, and quality characterize daily life. Here, you will work both independently and together with colleagues in an environment where we help each other succeed.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Working with both small and large welding details in carbon and stainless steel
  • Performing MIG/MAG and TIG welding
  • Setting up and programming welding robots
  • Contributing to continuous improvements for increased efficiency and quality
  • Working in a production certified according to ISO 3834-2

The position as a manual welder and robot welder is a permanent position directly with Wenmec, starting as agreed. Shift work applies.

About you

We are looking for you who have a vocational upper secondary education in workshop technology or equivalent work experience. As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and solution-oriented. You thrive in organized environments and are driven to improve both your own and the team's work. Flexibility and commitment are second nature to you.

Key requirements for the role include:

  • Good knowledge of MIG/MAG and TIG (MMA is an advantage)
  • Experience in programming robot welders
  • Experience in reading drawings and being accustomed to working in a structured manner
  • Good initiative and ability to plan your work efficiently

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Welding licenses
  • Forklift and overhead crane certificates
  • Knowledge of ISO 3834-2 and ISO 5817
