Work Mentor in a changing operation.

The operation offers meaningful occupation for people of working age who are far from the regular labor market. The operation strives to be as similar to a regular job as possible. Interventions are provided based on decisions made according to the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and SOL (Law on Special Support for Persons with Severe Intellectual Disabilities). In the operation, you work together with people with various functional variations and social challenges.

The operation aims to promote equality in living conditions and participation in societal life. The operation should offer participants stimulation, development, and meaningfulness in community with others.

The operation works in close cooperation with the business community and other municipal operations. We value our partners highly and take great shared responsibility for this cooperation.

Responsibilities

As a Work Mentor, you should have a solution-focused approach and practical skills, as it is the Work Mentor who plans, sets up, and supports the participants in their work tasks. In the role of Work Mentor, social and motivational competencies weigh just as heavily as practical ones. Administrative tasks such as case documentation, invoicing for completed assignments, and medication delegation are also included in the duties.

Qualifications

• For employment, a training adequate to the operation with at least a high school level is required. Additional merit if it is a training with a pedagogical focus.
• You share our belief that everyone can contribute, and thus focus on a motivating, supportive, and empowering working method ("Everyone can contribute").
• You have a cheerful and positive attitude towards the assignment.
• You have good physical fitness as the work involves heavy lifting.
• We would appreciate it if you have experience working with target groups of people with disabilities and/or people far from the labor market. You easily build trusting relationships with both participants and collaborating partners.

Conditions

Salary according to agreement.

Working hours are Monday–Friday, daytime, 100%.

B + BE driver's license is a requirement (manual transmission).

Additional merit if you have a driver's license for tractor and forklift.
