Our Operations

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for children in need of anesthesia and surgical care. The work is varied, and the pace changes. At the Pediatric Anesthesia and Pediatric Surgery Department, we care for children and adolescents aged 0–16. It is important to us that both children and accompanying relatives feel well cared for and safe.

The operations are varied, broad, and offer great opportunities for professional development. Our specialties include urology, upper gastrointestinal surgery, orthopedics, hand surgery, and neonatal surgery. We also receive children from oncology, covering surgery and treatments from diagnosis to completed treatment. We are a team that enjoys working together, with the child's best interests always at the center. This is a prerequisite for safely caring for everyone from extremely premature babies with intestinal issues to large teenagers with sports-related injuries. We are humble in our task of caring for children who need medical and surgical attention.

Your Role

As a Specialist Nurse, you will become part of a skilled team where we support and help each other in our work. We offer individually tailored onboarding based on your previous experience. Working as an anesthesia nurse at Akademiska Sjukhuset is exciting work where you will meet people in many different situations. We offer you varied and stimulating work where your role is significant.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with a Specialist Nurse degree in Anesthesia Care.

What We Offer

• Permanent full-time employment.
• Daytime hours (Monday–Friday) with on-call duty every 6th–8th weekend.
• From September: working time model with 37 hours/week.
