Description

We are looking for a Care Assistant (Undersköterska) for Soläng, a specialized housing facility in Forsheda. The facility consists of 10 apartments spread over two floors.

The position involves having your main placement on Ward 2, but you will also work at other units when needed.

We have daily contact with nurses, and rehabilitation (rehab) support is provided as needed, which means contact a few times a week. As a Care Assistant, you have several responsibilities, including documentation.

We see participation in the workplace as a key driver for moving forward and finding new solutions.

The work schedule includes day shifts, evening shifts, and weekends.

Responsibilities

You provide care and service with the user's needs at the center, according to decisions on support and implementation plans. You work with respect for the user's integrity, participation, and self-determination.

Duties include IT-based documentation, administration, and delegated health and medical care tasks.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have completed the Care and Nursing Program or other education that qualifies you as a Care Assistant. Good computer skills are required.

The position requires good teamwork skills, flexibility, and independence. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Experience with medication delegation is a plus.

Conditions

Before an employment offer is made, an extract from the police record (criminal background check) must be presented.

As of July 1, 2023, "Care Assistant" is a protected professional title. You must therefore have a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) to use the title.

You must have passing grades in Swedish.

Interviews will take place throughout the application period.
