Registered Nurse / District Nurse Wanted for Home Care – Summer Assignment

Are you a registered nurse or district nurse who thrives in independent work, enjoys varied patient interactions, and is experienced in municipal home care?

We are currently seeking a consultant for a summer assignment within home care during weeks 26–32.

About the Assignment

You will work within municipal home care providing health and medical care services at the primary care level. The assignment includes both planned and unplanned interventions with a strong focus on independent assessments and secure patient contact.

Key responsibilities include:

• Medical assessments and nursing interventions in the home
• Telephone advice and consultations
• Planned and emergency home visits
• Documentation and care planning
• Collaboration with rehabilitation staff and other professions
• On-call duties during weekends

The work is based at the shared office premises of the home care unit, where nurses and rehabilitation staff work closely together. A company car is provided during working hours.

Working Hours

The work is scheduled and includes:

• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Weekend duties

Example of Working Hours

• Day: Between 07:00–17:00
• Evening: 12:00–20:30 or 13:00–21:30
• Weekend: 13:00–21:30

Introduction

An introductory shift is offered before regular work begins to ensure safety and provide good conditions for the operation.

Period & Scope

• Period: Weeks 26–32
• Scope: Full-time
• Minimum 80% availability is required during the assignment period

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed registered nurse or district nurse
• Has experience in home care or municipal healthcare
• Is confident in making independent assessments and prioritizations
• Has good collaboration skills and a professional approach
• Has a valid B-class driver's license
• Can work days, evenings, and weekends

Merits:

• Experience with the Combine medical record system
• Previous experience in municipal home care

Requirements for Presentation

The following documents must be available for presentation:

• Updated CV
• Copy of driver's license
• Any desired leave during the assignment period
