We are now looking for dedicated assistant nurses at Rotsundastrand in Sollentuna/Rotebro who want to make a difference in the daily lives of our residents. This is a 80% fixed-term position where you will work days, evenings, and weekends.

About Rotsundastrand

We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that everyone working here is trained in dementia and care approaches through Vardaga's Dementia Academy. Our residence is located by the water and consists of 63 apartments spread over two buildings.

• We collaborate with the company Ung Omsorg. A team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays to organize various activities that add value to the lives of our residents.

• You have a group leader who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operations. Becoming a group leader can also be a career opportunity for you as an assistant nurse.

• We work with animals in care and have regular visits from therapy dogs.

• We are constantly working to come up with new, exciting activities for our residents.

As an assistant nurse, you are extremely important!

Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see every person and interpret their needs. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to interact with people.

"It is mainly about meetings with people, being able to adapt and read what people need. You get colleagues and learn a lot about collaboration! There are often many funny things, activities, and excursions. It is a job with lots of laughter."

You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.

Your experience and knowledge

We would like you to be a trained assistant nurse and have worked a few years in elderly care. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also meritorious. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.

Salary: Individual salary setting.

Start date: Immediately – 2026-06-01.

Employment type: Fixed-term position for 5 months, which may lead to a permanent position.
