We are looking for an engaged and reliable teaching assistant for our preschool in Barkarby. This position is ideal for you who have a strong interest in children's development and learning, and wish to contribute to a safe and stimulating environment for every child.

Job Responsibilities

As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with the educators in the preschool and provide support to children based on their individual needs. You will contribute to creating structure, security, and good conditions for the children's development and participation in preschool activities.

The responsibilities include, among other things:

• Supporting children in daily activities
• Participating in pedagogical activities and play
• Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and developmental learning environment
• Collaborating with educators and guardians
• Following the preschool's routines and values

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children, preferably in preschool or school settings
• Is responsible, attentive, and has good teamwork skills
• Has a professional and positive approach
• Is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

A requirement is that you have education in child and youth activities (barn och fritid) or other relevant pedagogical education. Previous experience working with children in need of special support is considered a significant advantage.
