We are looking for an experienced Fullstack BI Developer who wants to become a key person in Region Västernorrland's BI team and contribute to the development, maintenance, and quality assurance of business-critical Business Intelligence solutions.

This is a qualified assignment where you will work through the entire BI chain – from data modeling and ETL processes to reporting, dashboards, and business-oriented analytical support.

About the Assignment

Region Västernorrland is seeking reinforcement for its Business Intelligence team to develop and maintain the region's BI platform and analytical solutions.

You will work closely with both the business operations and other technical resources to ensure that relevant, quality-assured, and accessible data is available to the organization's decision-makers.

The assignment includes both development and maintenance work and can be supplemented with other related tasks if necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI
  Create modern reports and interactive dashboards that support the organization's needs for follow-up and analysis.
• Develop and maintain data models in SSAS Tabular
  Design, optimize, and maintain data models in SQL Server Analysis Services for high performance and quality.
• Implement and maintain ETL processes in SSIS
  Develop robust integration and ETL flows in SQL Server Integration Services.
• Quality assure and make data accessible
  Ensure that the organization has access to correct, up-to-date, and relevant information.
• Support BI team and operations
  Contribute technical expertise and advice regarding BI solutions, data models, and analytical needs.
• Document delivered solutions
  Create documentation for maintenance and knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to the further development of the BI platform
  Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to a long-term sustainable BI environment.

WE BELIEVE YOU HAVE

• Several years of experience in Business Intelligence development
• Very good knowledge of Power BI
• Experience with data modeling in SSAS Tabular
• Experience with ETL development in SSIS
• Strong competence in SQL Server and database development
• Experience with data warehouse and BI architecture
• Good understanding of information modeling and data quality
• Experience with documentation and maintenance work
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Good communication skills in Swedish
• Experience from the public sector or larger organizations is an advantage
