The Waste Management department is responsible for the collection of household waste and recyclables, operational waste, as well as the collection of sludge, fat, and oil. We are now looking for drivers for several of our areas. As a main assignment, you will belong to one of the areas – while simultaneously becoming part of the entire Waste Management team and supporting where the needs are greatest.

Your Main Responsibilities

As a driver with us, you work closely with your colleagues in Waste Management. Working hours may vary, and some weekend work may occur. You will:

• Collect waste, recyclables, sludge, fat, and oil, and perform deliveries and services for Waste Management's customers
• Participate in improvement work together with the team
• Contribute to quality assurance of materials and good documentation
• Be responsible for vehicles and equipment: daily inspection, maintenance, and regular washing
• Use digital work tools and platforms in everyday life
• Follow applicable safety and environmental procedures

Qualifications

You have good teamwork skills and thrive in customer-facing work. The role requires flexibility, a service-oriented attitude, and clear communication. The work is partly physical and takes place outdoors, which demands good physical fitness and comfort working in all weather conditions. You take responsibility for both your tasks and the team's, contributing to a good work climate. You thrive in a values-driven operation where professional, engaged, resource-smart, and inclusive are the keywords of everyday life.

Requirements:

• Class C Driver's License
• Valid YKB (Certificate of Professional Competence for Drivers)
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

Merits:

• Experience as a driver, preferably within recycling, waste, or sludge
• CE License
• ADR – Dangerous Goods (Tank)
• Local knowledge of Uddevalla Municipality
