Infection department expanding – new beds opening!

We are opening more care beds and, consequently, need to expand our skilled team within the infection department. Do you have 1–2 years of experience working in an acute care ward? Are you positive, engaged, and dedicated to patient care? Then we are eager to learn more about you!

Tasks and Offer

Here you will meet a diverse patient group aged 18 and above with a broad spectrum of acute infections. This variety contributes to a stimulating and educational work environment where you have the opportunity to develop both practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

As a nurse, you will work closely with nursing assistants, doctors, and paramedics.

You will receive an individual induction tailored to your prerequisites and wishes. The goal is for you to feel secure when taking independent patient responsibility. We have support functions that back you up both in daily routines and in acute situations. We highly value collaboration!

You will work in a clinic characterized by a pleasant work climate, high engagement from both nursing colleagues and doctors, and an open-door leadership style.

We focus heavily on education and competence development. Examples include weekly educational afternoons for staff, infection-specific training days, and courses in wound care.

We want to expand our wonderful team with more experienced colleagues who have worked in ward care for a few years, preferably with experience in emergency care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Swedish language proficiency at level C1
• At least 1–2 years of experience as a nurse in an acute care ward or equivalent

Previous experience in infection care is meritorious but not a requirement.

We are looking for someone who is self-assured, wants to work in a varied and exciting environment, and enjoys a fast pace. You are a team player with excellent collaboration skills and value teamwork with colleagues and patients, while also being self-reliant and able to work independently. Since you have daily contact with patients, we see it as important that you are accommodating and have very good communication skills. Personal suitability is of great importance.
