About the Security Unit

The Security Unit has strategic and operational responsibility for Bostadsstiftelsen Platen's security work. Together with other units within the administration department, we work towards high customer satisfaction, well-being, and a good living environment. The Security Unit's work covers resident influence, integration, social housing work, and the development of safe environments – both through preventive and reactive measures.

  • Safety and security
  • Education and knowledge level
  • Labor market and employment

About the role

As a Coordinator in District Development, you are a key person in the local security and integration work in our residential areas. You build relationships with tenants, create collaboration with local actors, and develop activities that strengthen resident influence, participation, and community. You work in close cooperation with other colleagues within the Security Unit and have great opportunities to influence and develop methods and projects.

Main responsibilities:

  • Coordination and development of projects in our residential areas
  • Plan and conduct tenant meetings and neighborhood meetings
  • Work with resident influence and customer dialogue
  • Analyze NKI results and present analyses and action proposals
  • Information and communication with tenants
  • Move-in visits and security walks
  • Handling of customer cases such as complaints, feedback, and requests
  • Supervision of holiday workers

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, relationship-building, and has a strong interest in society. You take initiative, work systematically, and enjoy collaborating with many different actors. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability in this recruitment, but to succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • Education at least at the upper secondary level with a focus on social work or similar
  • A few years of experience in district development, integration work, or similar
  • Experience in driving projects in some form
  • Good IT and documentation skills
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
  • Class B driver's license

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Knowledge of other languages, in addition to Swedish and English
  • Experience in association work
