About the Assignment

The Individual and Labor Market Administration in Sundsvall Municipality needs support to review the adult education operations from several perspectives:

• National Comparisons

The purpose is to create a clear picture of the current situation, identify areas for development, and provide recommendations that strengthen the operation's ability to meet future needs.

The assignment involves close dialogue with management, operational managers, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that the analysis is both relevant and close to the operations.

The Assignment Includes

✓ Conducting an overarching operational analysis
Mapping and analyzing the organization, working methods, and results of adult education.

✓ Evaluating quality and goal fulfillment
Evaluating the operation's quality based on national goals, governing documents, and established quality indicators.

✓ Analyzing scaling
Assessing whether the educational offerings, resources, and organization are adapted to current and future needs.

✓ Evaluating efficiency
Identifying strengths, areas for improvement, and opportunities for increased resource efficiency.

✓ Conducting national comparisons
Comparing the operation with relevant municipalities and national key figures.

✓ Identifying areas for development
Developing recommendations for operational development and future priorities.

✓ Presenting conclusions and decision-making support
Compiling analyses, conclusions, and concrete recommendations for management and decision-makers.

✓ Contributing expert knowledge
Adding experience and best practices from similar assignments within municipal adult education.

We believe you have

• Documented experience in similar reviews and investigation assignments
• Deep knowledge of municipal adult education (Komvux)
• Experience in operational development within the public sector
• Good understanding of the education system, governance, and follow-up
• Experience in quality work and operational analyses
• Ability to analyze key figures, statistics, and operational results
• Experience with benchmarking and national comparisons
• Ability to present complex analyses in a pedagogical and decision-oriented manner
• Good communicative skills in speech and writing
• Experience working with municipal management groups and politically governed organizations is an advantage
