Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer, you are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and data solutions in Azure. You work with technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Data Lake, and contribute to developing the architecture, guidelines, and working methods for the data platform.

You collaborate closely with data scientists, BI developers, analysts, solution architects, and the business to ensure that data is accessible, reliable, and creates value. The role involves significant freedom under responsibility and good opportunities to influence both technology choices and how the team works.

Your Team and Workplace

You will become part of the analytics team within Digital Development and Analytics, a team with high demand in the organization and significant impact on the business. The team consists of data engineers, data scientists, BI competencies, product owners, and a solution architect who together drive the development of the data platform forward.

The work takes place close to both technology and the business, with extensive collaboration across team boundaries. At the same time, the group is characterized by a high degree of individual responsibility where you are expected to be self-reliant and contribute your expertise. About You

To succeed in the role, you have several years of experience in data engineering in complex environments and a strong technical foundation in SQL and Python, as well as Azure services such as Data Factory, Databricks, and Data Lake. You also have a good understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data platform architecture.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented with the ability to take responsibility and drive your work forward. You thrive in collaborations and communicate easily with both technical and business stakeholders, while being self-reliant and confident in your competence. You are motivated by development, testing new ideas, and contributing to the whole in the team. You communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
