The Palliative Advisory Team (PRT) consists of a team of nurses, doctors, and social workers. Here, nurses work in a consultative role. The team is based at Sunderby Hospital but covers the entire Luleå/Boden area. We offer you, among other things, a quality-assured introduction and continuous competence development, placing great emphasis on your well-being and professional growth in the workplace. The activity contributes to our 24/7 operations as the position includes at least two on-call shifts per month.

We are looking for
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with a valid driver's license (Category B). Previous experience in palliative care, a genuine interest in palliative care and its approach, are meritorious. Personal qualities are highly valued. As a person, you are secure, stable, and self-aware. You have empathetic abilities and can put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation without taking over the person's feelings. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently and adapt easily to changing circumstances.
What you will work with
As a palliative advisory nurse in the team, you provide advice and support in, among other things, symptom relief and the palliative approach to staff caring for severely ill patients in inpatient care, special housing, or at home. Advice and support are also given to the individual person and their relatives. Home visits together with a doctor or nursing colleague also occur.

Information about the position
We offer you a permanent full-time position. The position is primarily during daytime hours, Monday to Friday. Two weekend shifts per month at our inpatient ward are included. Start date by agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
