Boo Primary Health Care Centre is a large centre with approximately 90 employees and nearly 25,000 registered patients. The centre is operated by Stockholm County Council and, as part of primary care, offers various forms of medical treatment, rehabilitation, nursing care, and preventive health care.

Responsibilities:

The role involves all typical tasks for a district nurse at a primary health care centre, including:

  • Performing medical assessments and care interventions
  • Supporting and informing patients about health and treatment
  • Collaborating with doctors and other healthcare staff to ensure high-quality care
  • Participating in quality development
  • Reception duties
  • Telephone advice
  • Work with digital channels and digital meetings via "Alltid Öppet" (Always Open)

The role requires broad competence and independence.

Qualifications:

Licensed nurse or district nurse with prescribing rights. Eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Experience in primary care, the medical record system TakeCare, and telephone advice in TeleQ is meritorious.

You have good collaboration skills. We are looking for someone who is engaged, driven, values good teamwork, and wants to provide high-quality care. We appreciate that you enjoy working with people and have good communication skills.

Employment type:

Permanent position, full-time. Probationary period may apply. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be reserved for internal relocation, according to current regulations.

For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council healthcare area:

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to Swedish professional licensure. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
