Job Responsibilities

As an employee in Home Care City, you work closely with our users and contribute to creating safety and quality of life in their daily lives.

The tasks are varied and include, among other things:

• Personal care such as help with hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meals.
• Support in daily life, for example cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Medication management according to delegation.
• Documentation according to current legislation and routines.
• Social support and companionship to counteract loneliness.
• Collaboration with colleagues, nurses, and other actors.
• Work independently and make own decisions based on the user's needs.
• You work independently at the user's home and travel between assignments by car or electric bike.

The role includes being a designated care contact for our users as a nursing assistant.

The role also includes IT-based documentation and administration, as well as delegated health and medical care tasks.

Qualifications

Nursing and care program or other education that provides assistant nurse competence, as well as good computer skills. The position requires good teamwork skills, flexibility, and independence.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability, and experience is meritorious.

Conditions

To apply for the position with us, you must meet the following basic requirements:

• From July 1, 2023, "assistant nurse" (undersköterska) is a protected professional title, and to be eligible, a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) must be provided.
• Approved grades in Swedish.
• A valid B-driver's license for manual transmission is required, as well as the ability to cycle.
• A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police record) must be presented before an employment offer is made.
• Work in other shifts may occur.

The Care Administration is responsible for our elderly, people with disabilities, and the municipality's home healthcare. The administration also works with rehabilitation and prevention so that our citizens can live a good life throughout their lives.
