In the role of Service Technician, you are responsible for the service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced drill rigs, compressors, and associated equipment. You work independently in the field and are responsible for ensuring that machines and systems maintain high operational reliability and availability.

The work takes place largely at customer sites and projects around Sweden. You operate from a fully equipped service vehicle and become an important part of the company's technical support and service function.

The role places high demands on technical competence and the ability to understand the interplay between mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and control systems.

You will among other things:

• Perform service and maintenance of drill rigs and ancillary equipment

• Work with compressors and pneumatic systems

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems

• Perform service on vehicles and machine equipment

• Work with control systems, electronics, and diagnostic tools

• Identify and analyze causes of failure in complex technical systems

• Document service interventions and actions taken

• Contribute to the development of efficient service processes and working methods

• Conduct machine operation and functional checks when necessary

The assignment is carried out in a technically advanced environment where problem-solving, independence, and quality are crucial for success.

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered for the role, you must have:

• At least 5 years of experience as a service technician, mechanic, or similar technical role

• Substantial experience in servicing and repairing heavy machinery, construction equipment, trucks, or industrial equipment

• Very good knowledge of mechanics

• Good experience with hydraulic systems and hydraulic troubleshooting

• Experience with compressors, pneumatics, or pneumatic systems

• Experience with troubleshooting and working with 24V vehicle electrical systems

• Ability to read electrical schematics and perform electrical troubleshooting

• Experience working independently in the field

• Category B driver's license

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience with drill rigs or drilling equipment

• Experience from the mining, energy, or construction industry

• Experience with construction equipment, forestry machines, or heavy industrial equipment

• Experience with CAN-bus systems

• Experience with PLC systems and control technology

• Experience with digital troubleshooting and diagnostic tools

• Category C driver's license

Location: All of Sweden – the role is based from a service vehicle and involves travel to projects and customers throughout the country
