ABOUT THE JOB

We are now looking for a class mentor for Norrängsskolan.

Norrängsskolan is a school for grades F-6 with approximately 300 students. For some time, we have been working on a project to improve the working environment for staff. This has led to us permanently implementing the class mentor solution. We believe in the importance of collaboration and that everyone should feel involved.

The duties of a class mentor include:

• Accompanying the group as a source of security during the school day. Being active during lessons and creating a conducive learning environment.
• Being present in the classroom during lesson time as a resource for the students.
• Contact with guardians.
• Responsible for certain documentation regarding norms and values.
• Supervision during breaks.
• Time spent in after-school care activities.
• Collaborative learning and further education together with other mentors and teaching staff.
• Striving for a good relationship with students and guardians based on mutual respect.

YOUR PROFILE

We believe in the right competence in the right place.

We are looking for you with a completed upper secondary education. It is meritorious if you have post-secondary education that the employer deems suitable for the assignment. We would appreciate it if you have some form of leadership training or experience in leadership, e.g., within the association movement.

As a person, you have an interest/motivation to work with children and young people, and you are active in your assignment. In the role of class mentor, it is important that you have the ability to work well with other people. Your strength lies in creating and maintaining good relationships with students, teachers, and guardians. You will be part of an engaged and flexible team that puts the student at the center.
