What does the role offer?

As a Transport Leader at Mantum, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on transports in a business where much is time-sensitive and conditions can change quickly. You dispatch your own vehicles, buy and sell loads, and ensure that deliveries take place according to plan. The role involves significant contact with customers, drivers, and project managers on-site, where you act as the link between various parties.

You will work continuously with notifications, job follow-ups, administration, and reconciliations prior to invoicing. The role also includes working commercially and sales-oriented by creating and developing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. You will participate in customer meetings and pulse meetings where it is important to communicate professionally and build trust.

The work involves many quick decisions and a high pace, especially during peak seasons in spring and autumn. Weather changes, altered assembly plans, and time-critical unloading require you to be able to reprioritize and find solutions with short notice. You work in the Opter system and handle tasks related to dispensations, deviations, and transport administration.

You will work full-time during standard office hours, based out of Mantum's premises at Vagnvägen 11 in Varberg. Start date can be immediate or as agreed.

Who are you?

To thrive in this role, we believe you are someone who enjoys when a lot is happening and is motivated by solving problems together with others. You are communicative, proactive, and have an easy time building relationships both internally and externally. At the same time, you are structured and have the ability to prioritize correctly even when the pace is high.

We would like you to have experience from traffic management, logistics, transport planning, or similar operations. It is an advantage if you have worked within trucking, transport, concrete, or prefab industries. However, the most important thing is not your previous experience, but your personality, your drive, and your willingness to learn the business!

You are an engaged and hungry person who takes responsibility, enjoys having many contact points, and wants to develop together with the company. Furthermore, you are business-minded, dare to make decisions, and can stand your ground when the situation requires it.
