The Elderly Care in Umeå Municipality aims to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life through proximity and interaction.

Holmsund Nursing and Care Home is centrally located in Holmsund with direct proximity to a health center, pharmacy, and grocery store. We offer excellent opportunities for outdoor activities thanks to balconies, terraces, and a shared inner courtyard. The building has three floors and houses 59 apartments. Holmsund Nursing and Care Home consists of six units: three group homes, a short-term care unit, a service house section, and a group home located in Obbola.

One of the most outstanding features of Holmsund Nursing and Care Home is our staff. Here, dedicated individuals work to create a safe and home-like environment for our residents. We are now looking for two new colleagues for Älvkungen in Obbola!

Your Responsibilities

Through good treatment and a professional approach, you will assist our residents in their daily lives. You will work with personal care and, under the delegation of the responsible nurse, perform medical tasks. Your duties also include documenting measures and health conditions. You will serve as a contact person, meaning you are responsible for ensuring that goals and interventions from assistance decisions and implementation plans are known and carried out with high quality, with the resident's participation as the focus.

Lifting heavy loads occurs, so transfer aids must be used. Working hours are scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends.

About You

We are looking for you who have good professional competence based on maturity, responsibility, and a well-developed empathetic ability. You show strong commitment to both users and the organization, which is evident in your relationships and actions. You work independently and display patience and initiative in various situations. You also have a very good ability to collaborate and cooperate with colleagues, relatives, and other professions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements

• Experience working in healthcare and social services
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, to communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, write and read care documentation, and obtain medical delegation

Merits

• Trained assistant nurse, care aide, or other healthcare education
• Experience with medical delegation
