Rasta Brålanda is a facility that is part of the well-known Rasta chain, which has 30 meeting places across Sweden where we operate restaurants, shops, and hotels. At Rasta Brålanda, we have a restaurant focusing on traditional Swedish home cooking, as well as a well-stocked travel shop operated under the OKQ8 brand.

Job Description

As a restaurant assistant at Rasta, you are an important part of the team and ensure that our guests have a pleasant experience. You work in a varied and service-oriented environment where you interact with guests, handle food and drinks, and contribute to a clean and welcoming restaurant. The pace can be fast, but with the right attitude and good teamwork, we create a welcoming atmosphere where both guests and colleagues thrive.

Responsibilities

• The role of Restaurant Assistant primarily involves preparing sandwiches and salads, serving the daily special, light cooking of our à la carte menu, and cash register duties.
• There are also many secondary tasks associated with running a restaurant, such as cleaning and dishwashing.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be 20 years or older: The position involves serving alcohol according to the Alcohol Act (2010:1622), which sets a minimum age limit of 20.
• Service-oriented attitude: Ability to greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Stress tolerance & flexibility: The restaurant environment can be hectic, especially during peak hours.
• Basic cash register experience: Experience with POS systems and payment handling is an advantage.
• Previous restaurant experience: Experience in the restaurant and fast-food industry is a significant advantage.

Working Hours and Benefits

Employment Type: Fixed-term contract (Vicariate)
Hours: 60%
Working Hours: Varying hours, including weekends and evenings.
Salary: According to collective agreement.
Start Date: As agreed.
