Welcome to the largest psychiatric inpatient building in the Nordics!

Ward 72 at Nacka Hospital has 16 care beds and is a central part of the largest building for psychiatric inpatient care in the Nordics. On the ward, we work in cross-professional teams consisting of nurses, assistant nurses, social workers, medical secretaries, and doctors.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will lead the nursing care of our patients, which involves planning and carrying out nursing measures. You will participate in rounds together with doctors, assistant nurses, and paramedical staff. Your duties also include support conversations with patients, as well as contact and coordination with other healthcare providers, municipalities, and next of kin. We use TakeCare as our medical record system.

Qualifications

We require that you are a licensed nurse and have at least two years of experience in inpatient care.

As a nurse with us, you are passionate about psychiatric nursing and are not afraid to think new thoughts and outside the box. You are motivated to look after and meet the varying needs of our patients. Furthermore, you are clear in your leadership role and delegate tasks fairly. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position is a permanent full-time employment (38:15 hours/week). In patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

• A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks at employment.
• Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new hire examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
