The Environmental and Building Department works with permits and supervision in several different areas. Here, 25 employees with broad competence work, where advice and service are a natural and important part of the work.

We are now looking for an inspector to join the team with responsibility for environmental protection.

Job Description

As an environmental and health inspector with us, you will have a broad and varied assignment. We have many supervision objects with varying operations, and we also conduct environmental supervision on permit-required activities.

Together with the team, you discuss cases and plan how the work should be distributed and carried out, while you independently process cases and make decisions. Your competence and experience are an important piece of the puzzle in how your tasks will be shaped.

We work in the case management system EDP Vision.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have education as an environmental and health inspector or other education and experience that we consider suitable.

We place great emphasis on your personal suitability and personal qualities.

• You function well as an authority figure and advisor to the public and businesses, and can distinguish between these roles.
• Your social competence contributes to creating mutual trust and respect in meetings.
• You find it easy to collaborate but also to work independently.
• You work in a structured manner, are flexible, and have a desire to provide good service.

The position requires good knowledge of the Swedish language. It is important that you can motivate and explain decisions well and clearly, both in meetings and in writing.

A category B driver's license is required.

Employment Terms

Type of employment: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
