About the Role

The mandate of the Social Services Administration is to meet people's needs for security. The administration shall work to ensure that the municipality's residents receive social care in various forms, with a special responsibility to safeguard the needs and interests of vulnerable groups. Responsibilities

The role of assistant nurse/care aide involves assisting the user according to their individual needs regarding personal care, meals, mobility, activities, etc. An important task is to support the healthy among the users. This means providing them with support and encouragement to continue doing what they can manage themselves. We place great emphasis on case management and work with the individual's best interest at the center. Our goal is for users to experience dignity and well-being as much as possible. We work flexibly with collaboration between Videgården and Home Care Karesuando.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for you who primarily have studied the Care and Nursing Program at the upper secondary level. Meritorious if you have experience in care work and knowledge of dementia diseases. It is also meritorious if you master Finnish, Meänkieli, or Sami.

The work also includes documentation in the Combine system. A Category B driver's license is required. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
