Nurse sought for assignments in surgery, orthopedics, and urology

Are you a registered nurse who thrives in a varied inpatient care environment with both planned and acute activities?

We are now looking for you for a longer-term assignment within a surgical and medical ward during the autumn of 2026.

About the assignment

You will work on a ward with varying patient flows across several different care areas. The operations combine acute and planned care, offering a broad and developmental role.

Patient groups may include, among others:

• Surgical patients
• Orthopedic patients
• Urological patients
• Medical care needs within inpatient care

Typical duties include:

• Care of inpatients
• Medication management
• Documentation and patient assessments
• Collaboration in a multidisciplinary team
• Planning and follow-up of patient care

Work environment

You will work together with nursing assistants, doctors, and other professionals in an operation where flexibility, collaboration, and patient safety are central parts of the work.

Period & scope

• Period: Week 36–49
• Scope: approximately 810 hours
• Working hours according to schedule; day/evening/night and weekends may occur

We are looking for you who

• Are a registered nurse
• Have experience from inpatient care
• Are confident in independent assessments and prioritizations
• Have good collaboration skills and work in a structured manner
• Thrive in an operation with varying patient flows

Merits:

• Experience in surgery, orthopedics, or urology
• Experience in acute care
• Experience with electronic health record systems in inpatient care

Requirements for presentation

The following documents need to be available for the presentation:

• Updated CV
• Adult CPR training certificate
• Two current references from the most recent assignment or employment
