At Attendo, we are now looking for a Care Assistant (Undersköterska) for Attendo Näsbyterrassen, a modern, newly built residence with a focus on sports and spa, which opened in August 2024. We are located just next to Roslags Näsby station in a pleasant, newly built area with cafes, restaurants, and greenery just around the corner.

The residence has 100 apartments, catering to both individuals with dementia and somatic illnesses. At the top of the building, there are two large terraces, a spa and relaxation area, a large communal hall, and a gym for our residents and staff.

About the role

As a Care Assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our residents. You are responsible for providing good care and support. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during mealtimes is a significant part of your role, as is contributing to various activities that brighten the daily lives of our elderly residents.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Personal care according to the organization's routines, based on the resident's individual needs and wishes.
• Assisting with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc., as needed.
• Performing documentation and working based on decided interventions.
• Collaborating with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a Care Assistant.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written).
• Good computer skills/computer literacy.

Merits:

• Experience from care work in elderly care.
