At StudentConsulting, we are currently looking for a Master Data Specialist with an immediate start for our client in Gothenburg. The company has over 100 years of experience in the production and delivery of building materials such as tiles, paving stones, walls, blocks, and concrete and natural stone VA systems. They have been involved in various projects, ranging from large public buildings to smaller private constructions, providing materials and technical expertise across the country.

As a Master Data Specialist, you will become a central part of the company's product and process flows, responsible for the article register and several important article systems. Here, you ensure and enrich data so that information is correct and reaches throughout the entire organization.

In this role, you will have close contact with many different parts of the company. You will collaborate with production to ensure articles are set up correctly and function smoothly. Together with the segment organization, decisions will be made on which products to launch or remove from the assortment, while contact with the sales team and distributors ensures that correct product information reaches the customer. You will also be part of the business system administration group and drive improvement projects together with internal process owners.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting production in setting up articles and ensuring information functions correctly in the system
• Participating in processes regarding launches and assortment changes together with the segment organization
• Contributing to improvement projects and the administration of the business system as part of the administration group
• Helping to develop processes for higher data quality throughout the organization
• Acting as the hub with contact to sales, production, and other internal functions

This is a consultancy assignment, meaning you will be employed by us at StudentConsulting and work as a consultant for our client, located in Hjällbo, Gothenburg. The position is planned to start immediately and is full-time, with work scheduled during office hours.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for you who have:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as economics, logistics, or IT
• Experience working with business systems, databases, or product data management
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Merits:

• Previous experience working in Master Data or similar roles
• Experience from production environments and understanding of production processes
• Knowledge of the business system Jeeves
• Experience with the article register Finfo
