Since 2016, NITIU has been conducting advanced and customer-centric technology development together with partners such as Alleima, Saab, and Volvo. The focus is on ultra-light load-bearing structures and solutions for the next generation of hydrogen transport and storage – an area at the center of the global energy transition. Now, they are taking the next step: from technology development to industrialization and commercialization. The Role You work at the intersection of R&D, production engineering, and business, with the task of contributing to the development and commercialization of various applications. You move daily between the details of the design and the overall picture of how the product is used by the customer. Industrialization – Developing Scalable Technology You work on developing, modeling, and analyzing manufacturing systems by: · Ensuring that the design is adapted for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA). · Driving the transition from prototype to product, including manufacturing processes, selection of production methods, tolerances, and materials. · Preparing data for product cost calculations and simulation of manufacturing processes. · Working hands-on with problem-solving in production, testing, and verification. Commercialization – Developing Market and Business You contribute to ensuring our solutions meet real needs and reach customers by: · Ensuring the product meets customer requirements and relevant regulations. · Translating technical features into clear customer value and usage. · Supporting how the product is packaged, positioned, and introduced in the customer environment. Your Background You have a Master of Science in Engineering degree or equivalent experience, for example, in industrial economics or a related field. Good proficiency in Swedish and English is required, as is Swedish citizenship. We would appreciate if you have: · Experience in product development from prototype to finished product (meritorious). · Understanding of regulatory requirements. · Experience working in small or fast-paced organizations.
