Since 2016, NITIU has been conducting unique and customer-oriented technology development with Alleima, Saab, and Volvo within ultra-light load-bearing structures to develop tomorrow's solutions for the transport and storage of hydrogen, among other things. It is now time for the next step in the development of the company's world-unique and sustainable technology systems. They are deepening their collaboration with Saab and are now looking for you who are passionate about design and programming and want to be part of unique technology development in a fast-paced small company with big ambitions. The role focuses on programming-based design with the aim of automating the generation of CAD/CAM data and developing software-based solutions that support the manufacturing of NITIU's groundbreaking products and shorten lead times. Under mentorship, you will contribute crucial efforts to the development of the principles and methods that the company's future products will be based on regarding design and automation. Creating CAD models using code changes product development. By automating time-consuming and repetitive tasks, valuable time is freed up, allowing designers and engineers to focus on exploring the design space of the structure. Fully parametric designs enable efficient adaptation and optimization of structures, where dimensions and properties can be easily adjusted to meet new requirements or changed conditions. Your background You are a Master of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Technical Physics, Computer Science). You have experience with or a strong interest in programming, preferably in Python, but other programming languages are an asset. Good language skills in Swedish and English are required, as is Swedish citizenship. You collaborate well and thrive in a broad role where there are constantly new opportunities to develop and contribute your expertise. You are a skilled problem solver with a strong drive to apply theoretical knowledge and turn it into practical solutions. The position is based in Gävle, and there is also an opportunity to work from the company's office in Uppsala a few days a week.
