Do you want varied tasks and the opportunity to follow the patient before, during, and after surgery? We are now looking for an engaged perioperative nurse for our team at the Oculoplastic Clinic – a workplace where collaboration, development, and patient focus are at the center.
About Us
At the Oculoplastic Clinic, we work in a consolidated practice with both outpatient clinics and operating rooms. This gives you the opportunity to follow the patient before, during, and after surgery. Our procedures are performed under local anesthesia, which creates good patient contact and a secure meeting.
We work in a small team with perioperative nurses, ophthalmic nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors, where we work closely together with a flat hierarchy.
About the Position
You will have a varied position where you alternate between operating room work and outpatient care. The work includes your own outpatient clinic, telephone advice, assistance at the doctor's clinic, and work in the operating room. To ensure you feel secure in all parts of the role, a thorough introduction is included, including training for running your own clinic. Our day surgery is performed with awake patients, which provides a personal and meaningful care encounter.
We plan the schedule with room for competence development, such as conferences and internal training.
Qualifications
- Licensed perioperative nurse
- Experience in outpatient work is meritorious, but not a requirement
Personal Qualities
You thrive in a small team and appreciate close collaboration with colleagues and doctors. You are flexible, responsible, and have a positive attitude. You enjoy having varied tasks and are engaged in both your own and the organization's development. You contribute to a good work climate and always put the patient's best first.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Conditions
Permanent full-time position. Probation period of six months may apply. Working hours: daytime Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week – without work on public holidays, no on-call duty, and early Friday finish.
Start date is by agreement.
Selection and interviews are conducted continuously – apply today!
