About the role

As a Project Engineer within the Northern Region, you will become a key part of IVAB's largest department. Here, a broad group consisting of project management, service management, fitters, and specialists work together to deliver high-quality installations to our customers.

In this role, you work closely with project managers and production, with special responsibility for creating structure, quality, and progress in our projects. You are involved throughout the entire process – from inquiry to final delivery – and serve as technical and administrative support in both smaller and more complex contracts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing technical documentation and specifications at both technical and economic levels
• Setting internal goals together with the rest of the organization that align with customer expectations
• Coordinating technical issues with consultants, suppliers, and project teams
• Ensuring quality, documentation, and self-inspections
• Monitoring project economics and contributing to analyses
• Participating in tenders and technical decisions
• Attending meetings and collaborating with customers and designers

Travel is required for this position.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a technical interest who wants to develop within project operations in the HVAC industry. You are a person who thrives in a coordinating role where you can combine technology, structure, and collaboration.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You have an easy time collaborating and communicating with various stakeholders and contribute to order and progress in projects.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in HVAC, construction, energy, or equivalent technical education
• Experience or interest in HVAC, installation, or construction projects
• Good computer skills and experience working with digital tools
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Merits:

• Experience from contracting projects or design work
• Knowledge of industry regulations (e.g., Säker Vatten)
• Experience with project economics or document management
