Edsätra Elderly Care Home is looking for kitchen staff!

Edsätra is a private elderly care home operated by the Friends of Edsätra Association, a non-profit, Christian-oriented association. At Edsätra, we prepare and serve meals made from scratch using high-quality ingredients. Our menu is planned according to the season, major holidays, tradition, and the wishes of our residents.

We prepare meals for approximately 50 residents. The kitchen is responsible for breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee, dinner, evening snacks, and "night food".

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is self-sufficient after the introductory days and who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed. Prior experience in a kitchen within elderly care or similar settings is advantageous, as is familiarity with the typical tasks in an elderly care home kitchen.

The Position

This is a temporary hourly position. The role involves primarily dishwashing duties in the kitchen, as well as classic kitchen tasks such as assisting chefs, chopping salads, preparing desserts, stocking items, etc.

Working hours are from 11:00 to 19:00. Weekend work may be required as needed. Availability for work during most of the summer is a significant advantage.
