For this assignment, we are looking for an experienced and engaged Transport Manager with strong skills in creating structure, driving daily operations forward, and thriving in a fast-paced environment with significant autonomy.

In this role, you are responsible for planning and coordinating transports, as well as ensuring an efficient flow within warehousing and logistics. You will play a central part in daily operations, where team leadership, planning, and coordination are natural parts of the job. The role involves numerous contact points and close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

You report to the Operations Manager and participate regularly in meetings related to operations, planning, and business development.

Main Responsibilities:

• Planning & Coordination: Responsible for the daily planning of operations, coordinating transports, and ensuring an efficient logistical flow. Participate in and lead operational meetings related to daily activities.
• Personnel & Team Leadership: Distribute tasks to warehouse and logistics staff and ensure that work is performed according to established procedures and goals.
• Administration & Systems: Handle cargo registration and ensure correct administration in business and logistics systems.
• Quality & Follow-up: Monitor warehouse and transport-related activities, handle deviations, and work with documentation and statistics.
• Operations & Maintenance: Contribute to keeping the facility and work areas in good condition, and report any deficiencies or need for corrective actions.

• Documented experience from similar roles within warehousing, logistics, or transport management.
• Experience in team leadership and planning.
• Good system proficiency, preferably within logistics or warehouse management systems.
• The ability to work systematically with follow-up, administration, and quality assurance.
