Our client is a Swedish company within food technology, featuring a unique process technology built on extensive experience in innovation and development. The technology enables sustainable and cost-effective alternatives to traditional animal-based foods.

About the role

This position has been created to strengthen technical competence and ensure continued development within maintenance, technical projects, and the optimization of process lines.

We are looking for someone with experience in technical project management, installations, and process development within the food industry or other process industries. The role is broad, combining strategic improvement work with practical, hands-on technical responsibility in the factory.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance SOPs and maintenance planning, including supplier contacts
• Improvement and optimization of processes and equipment
• Installations, startups, and commissioning
• Troubleshooting of processes and technical equipment
• Technical ownership within engineering
• Responsibility for utilities/media supply and sourcing
• Communication and coordination with colleagues, employees, and suppliers
• Planning, time management, and development of technical solutions together with internal and external parties

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience from similar roles within the food industry, process industry, or technical production
• Experience as a project manager, technical manager, team leader, or technical support in complex projects
• Good technical understanding within mechanical engineering, process, or production
• Ability to identify improvement and optimization opportunities
• Technical education as a technician, engineer, machinist, or equivalent
