Summer Temporary Staff for Elderly Care in Sundbyberg Municipality

Bällstahof is a modern nursing home located in the heart of central Sundbyberg, close to public transport, walking paths, shops, and restaurants. Bällstahof features 48 apartments of varying sizes across three floors, distributed over six wings. Each wing contains eight apartments. The facility specializes in both dementia care and somatic care.

We work in cross-professional teams. The motto of the elderly care service, "Human encounters - we care!", permeates the operations, and all interactions should be characterized by warmth, attentiveness, respect, and engagement. With our care recipients at the center, planning, implementation, follow-up, and continuous improvement are natural parts of the work. Sundbyberg Municipality's elderly care is certified according to ISO 9001:2015, a tool for effective quality management.

To our operations, we are now looking for several assistant nurses for hourly employment during the summer. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. As an assistant nurse, you will perform standard tasks. You will actively work to offer care recipients patient-safe and person-centered care, focusing on a meaningful and dignified day based on their wishes and needs.

Qualifications

• You are an assistant nurse or have other experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, meticulous, curious, and responsible, as well as having good communicative and pedagogical skills with a genuine interest in working with the elderly. You see solutions instead of problems. A desire to work salutogenically is a prerequisite.

The position is an hourly employment on an as-needed basis.
